Regional Planning

Much of Triangle J's planning work involves developing and managing partnerships that bring local communities together with other stakeholders to reach solutions. Working with community partners on long-term, regional-scale strategies, Triangle J takes on five principal roles:

  1. convener and common ground for research, project development, relationship-building and information-sharing
  2. coordinator of efficient regional service
  3. manager of regional planning projects
  4. administrator for regional institutions addressing development, conservation and infrastructure
  5. provider of technical assistance and data to member communities

The Regional Planning Department is organized into three main program areas, which manage individual subprograms and projects: (Click on any of the links below to go to that program/project page.)

This is An Inactive Project indicates a project that is currently inactive. Inactive programs/projects may again become active in the future depending upon the needs of our members.
