Town of Archer Lodge joins TJCOG

At its May 23rd meeting, the Triangle J Council of Governments’ Board of Delegates unanimously approved a request by the Town of Archer Lodge for membership into the regional organization. Archer Lodge is Johnston County’s seventh municipality to join Triangle J and is the one of the newest towns in North Carolina, incorporated in November of 2009. The Town of Archer Lodge is Triangle J’s 37th member government.

 

Archer Lodge Town Councilman Mark Wilson will serve as the town’s delegate to the Triangle J Board of Delegates. Councilman Wilson represented Archer Lodge at the Board meeting and expressed the town’s interest in becoming part of the regional organization. Mayor Pro-Tem Carlton Vinson will serve as the town’s alternate to the Board of Delegates.
