TJCOG facilitators are knowledgeable about the communities they serve and the challenges and strengths of local governments and are prepared with tools and skills to lead engaging, purposeful meetings, discussions or events and provide seasoned advice, meeting strategies, and a neutral voice to work through tough decisions.
Facilitation services include:
- one-time meetings
- board retreats
- department-wide or leadership retreats
- project-specific facilitation or community meetings on complicated or varied issues such as affordable housing, transportation, and more.
We asked the team at TJCOG to assist us in organizing and conducting a conversation with our elected leaders, representatives from non-profit organizations, and from the development community regarding affordable housing. They helped structure the agenda based upon our desired outcomes and expertly facilitated the event. Their breadth of experience and creative thinking resulted in a productive and well-received session.
