Scaling Green Stormwater Infrastructure

Thursday, June 10, 2021 - 2:00pm to 4:00pm
Green stormwater infrastructure can be used in conjunction with traditional infrastructure to retain and treat polluted stormwater and help address localized flooding. Addressing the impacts of rapid growth and changing precipitation patterns requires using all the tools in our planning toolbox at scale.

Cameron Colvin of the Town of Kernersville and Julia Noordyk of Wisconsin Sea Grant will demonstrate methods of evaluating codes and ordinances to see how they can encourage or discourage use of green stormwater infrastructure. Local government planners, architects, stormwater engineers, students, members of watershed organizations - all are welcome!
