About Us

The Triangle J  Area Agency on Aging

Triangle J Area Agency on Aging (TJAAA) focuses on advocacy and partnership efforts to build and improve a quality continuum of services and supports for the region’s aging adults, adults with disabilities, and family caregivers.  We also administer funding from the Older Americans Act and provide technical assistance to funding recipients to assure high-quality services at the local level.  Our work is guided by a four-year Regional Area Plan on Aging, approved by our Advisory Council, the COG Board of Delegates and the NC Division of Aging and Adult Services.
