2020 Summit: What's Equity Have to Do With It?
The first-ever virtual Triangle J Council of Government Regional Summit (& fourth annual!) was a deep dive into the impact of government policies and practices on equity in the Triangle, providing tools and best practices from across the region and country. Through five workshops, attendees learned about the ways equity is directly linked to community engagement, supporting older adults and their health, policing, and growth. This annual convening of stakeholders offers a chance to network, learn from local experts, and collaborate on the pressing challenges facing today’s communities.
