Maya joined TJCOG in January 2019 after working for the NC Division of Water Resources for two years managing watershed planning and restoration grants. Prior professional experience includes applied research and communications on green stormwater infrastructure and watershed restoration, developing and leading field-based restoration and citizen science programs, and doing avian conservation fieldwork.
Support efforts across the region relating to water quality, quantity, and infrastructure.
