"Engaging In Aging"

In Chatham, Durham, Johnston, Lee, Moore, Orange and Wake Counties

Mandated by the federal Older Americans Act, the Triangle J Area Agency on Aging (TJAAA) focuses on its partnerships as a means of leveraging a quality continuum of programs, services and supports for aging adults, adults living with disabilities and family caregivers.  Our mission is to help individuals in our 7-county region live in their home and community, with the highest level of independence and dignity possible.  In other words, we want individuals in our region to flourish!

In order to accomplish this, the scope of our work is broad and flexible, reaching those who are well and able-bodied and those who need a little more help to cope with life's daily challenges.  Use the tiles above to help navigate the information provided on our site -OR-
